\nRole Summary
\nWe are looking for an experienced ADM Architect with 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, modernizing, and supporting enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java and modern application architecture, complemented by experience in Data platforms/engineering and Cloud technologies.
\nThe architect will provide technical leadership across Application Development & Maintenance engagements, define target architectures, drive modernization initiatives, and ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Own the end-to-end technical architecture for enterprise ADM applications and platforms. \n
- Design scalable solutions using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures. \n
- Define application modernization strategies, including monolith-to-microservices transformation and cloud migration. \n
- Provide architecture guidance across application, integration, data, and cloud layers. \n
- Review existing applications and identify opportunities for modernization, performance improvement, technical-debt reduction, and cost optimization. \n
- Design and govern API, integration, caching, messaging, and asynchronous processing patterns. \n
- Work with Data Architects and Engineers on data models, data integration, pipelines, databases, and analytical platforms. \n
- Provide architectural guidance for relational, NoSQL, data lake, and cloud-based data solutions. \n
- Define cloud-native architecture leveraging services available on AWS, Azure, or GCP. \n
- Drive adoption of containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. \n
- Establish architecture and engineering standards covering scalability, availability, resiliency, observability, security, and maintainability. \n
- Guide engineering teams on design patterns, coding standards, DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and production readiness. \n
- Perform architecture/design reviews and provide technical direction to development and support teams. \n
- Support production problem management, root-cause analysis, performance optimization, and resolution of complex technical issues. \n
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Data, and Enterprise Architecture teams. \n
- Mentor technical leads and senior engineers and help build strong engineering practices across ADM teams. \n
Required Technical Skills
\nPrimary – Java & Application Architecture
\n- \n
- 10+ years of overall IT/application development experience with significant architecture or technical leadership responsibilities. \n
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Java/J2EE and modern Java frameworks. \n
- Strong experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST APIs, and microservices. \n
- Good understanding of domain-driven design, design patterns, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture. \n
- Experience with messaging/streaming technologies such as Kafka, MQ, or equivalent. \n
- Experience designing highly available, scalable, resilient, and high-performance enterprise applications. \n
- Strong understanding of API management, authentication/authorization, caching, and integration patterns. \n
Secondary – Data
\n- \n
- Good understanding of Data Engineering and Data Architecture concepts. \n
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server. \n
- Exposure to NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or equivalent. \n
- Understanding of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data lakes/lakehouses, data quality, and data governance. \n
- Exposure to technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent is desirable. \n
- Ability to design application-to-data-platform integration patterns. \n
- Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP. \n
- Experience designing cloud-native and hybrid-cloud solutions. \n
- Understanding of IaaS, PaaS, containers, Kubernetes, serverless, managed databases, storage, networking, and IAM. \n
- Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or equivalent. \n
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, or equivalent is desirable. \n
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Prometheus/Grafana, or cloud-native alternatives. \n

Pref`erred Qualifications
\n- \n
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. \n
- Cloud architecture certifications from AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud are desirable. \n
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise Application Development & Maintenance (ADM) programs. \n
- Experience with legacy modernization and cloud transformation programs. \n
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum and enterprise-scale delivery methodologies. \n
