JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled L1.5 Support Engineer with strong expertise in AWS infrastructure and production support. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining cloud-based applications and infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Monitor application and infrastructure alerts and respond within SLA.
\n
• Perform initial troubleshooting, issue triaging, and escalate when required.
\n
• Manage incidents, service requests, and change requests using ServiceNow/Jira.
\n
• Ensure system uptime, performance, and reliability.
\n
• Collaborate with L2/L3 teams and development teams for issue resolution.
\n
• Maintain documentation and knowledge base articles.
\n
• Support deployment activities and CI/CD pipelines.
\n

Required Skills:

1) AWS Infrastructure :

\n
• Experience with AWS services: EC2, EBS, ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, Load Balancer, Elastic Cache, IAM, Route 53, Lambda, Auto Scaling.
\n
• Basic knowledge of IAM roles and cloud security best practices.
\n
• Familiarity with Code Pipeline and CI/CD workflows.
\n
• Experience with Ansible Tower and Python scripting.
\n

2) Monitoring & Ticketing Tools:

\n
• Hands-on experience with Datadog (Synthetic & RUM Monitoring).
\n
• Working knowledge of Splunk ITSI and AWS CloudWatch.
\n
• Experience in ServiceNow (CRQ, Incident, MIM, CTASK, SCTASK) and Jira.
\n

3) Source Code Management:

\n
• Experience with GitHub for version control.
\n
• Knowledge of Nexus Repository management.
\n

4) Application Runtime & Middleware:

\n
• Experience with Apache Tomcat and Apache HTTP Server.
\n
• Support for Java-based applications.
\n
• Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM – Author, Publisher, Dispatcher, Cache).
\n
• Basic Python knowledge.
\n

5) Operating Systems:

\n
• Hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL and Amazon Linux).
\n
• Knowledge of shell scripting, Linux commands, and SSL certificates.
\n

15 years of Full Time Education
