1. Years of experience on SQL Administration (preferably MCDBA)

2. Strong in RDBMS concepts
\n
3. Installing SQL server and client software, creating, upgrading.
\n
4. Experience in SQL 2005, 2008, 2012, 2014
\n
5. Experience in Tablespace, Schemas, Application/ DB Tuning & Performance Monitoring.
\n
6. Patching databases in Windows environments.
\n
7. Experience in Upgrade and Migration of SQL database
\n
8. Performance Tuning of SQL databases
\n
9. Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
\n
10. Planning, scheduling and taking SQL backups.
\n
11. Hands on experience in database backups and Recovery
\n
12. Export/Import, Cold, Hot backups & DR solutions.
\n
13. Successfully implemented physical standby database using SQL Data replication and log shipping
\n
14. High availability configuration, AlwaysOn, Log shipping
\n
15. Installation, Configuration and deployment of SQL database
\n
16. Capacity Management
\n
17. Database security
\n
18. Co-ordination with multiple stake holders / Third party Vendors for break-fix.
\n
19. Flexibility to work in shifts for 24x7 support
\n
20. Must be able to lead the critical outage calls
\n
21. Create the Standard Operating Procedure and update the knowledge database documentation whenever required
\n
22. Participate in weekly/ monthly/ customer meeting and provide activities report.
\n
23. Experience in Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g & 12c Tablespace, Schemas, Application/ DB Tuning & Performance Monitoring.

Patching databases in UNIX (Solaris, HP-UX & AIX), Linux and Windows environments.>
