Job Description – Oracle DBA

Role: Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle DBA)

Experience: 4–6 Years

Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities :

• Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain Oracle databases in production and non-production environments.
\n
• Monitor database performance, availability, and health to ensure optimal system uptime.
\n
• Manage backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions using RMAN, RAC, and Data Guard.
\n
• Perform database migrations, upgrades, cloning, and refresh activities across environments.
\n
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize SQL queries, indexes, and database configurations.
\n
• Implement database security standards including user management, encryption, and access controls.
\n
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and support teams to resolve database-related issues.
\n

Required Skills

\n
• Strong experience in Oracle Database Administration (11g/12c/19c or higher).
\n
• Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and OEM.
\n
• Expertise in database backup & recovery, patching, upgrades, and migrations.
\n
• Strong knowledge of SQL performance tuning, AWR, ASH, and ADDM reports.
\n
• Experience in Oracle database security, TDE, Wallet, and user/role management.
\n
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix administration and Shell scripting.
\n
• Experience handling production support and critical incident management.
