Position: SAP Basis Consultant

Experience: 7-11 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with 7--11 years of expertise in SAP system administration, installation, upgrades, migrations, performance tuning, and SAP landscape management. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in supporting SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager, and HANA databases in complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, and Solution Manager.
\n
• Perform SAP system refreshes, client copies, kernel upgrades, and support pack implementations.
\n
• Manage SAP HANA database administration activities, including backup, recovery, and performance optimization.
\n
• Monitor and optimize SAP system performance, availability, and reliability.
\n
• Execute SAP transport management and landscape administration activities.
\n
• Perform system upgrades, migrations, Unicode conversions, and S/4HANA transformation projects.
\n
• Manage SAP High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) environments.
\n
• Troubleshoot complex SAP Basis, OS, and database-related issues.
\n
• Work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams for seamless operations.
\n
• Prepare technical documentation and support audit/compliance requirements.
\n

Required Skills

\n
• Strong experience in SAP Basis Administration.
\n
• Expertise in SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, and SAP Solution Manager.
\n
• Hands-on experience with SAP HANA Database Administration.
\n
• Experience in SAP installations, upgrades, system copies, and migrations.
\n
• Knowledge of SAP transport management system (TMS).
\n
• Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
\n
• Strong troubleshooting skills in SAP application, database, and operating system layers.
\n
• Experience with SAP Early Watch Reports, system monitoring, and performance tuning.
\n
• Knowledge of High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.
\n
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for SAP workloads.
\n

Preferred Skills

\n
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
\n
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori administration and SAP Web Dispatcher.
\n
• Exposure to SAP BTP and cloud-based SAP environments.
\n
• Experience in automation and scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell).
\n
• SAP Basis or SAP HANA certification preferred.
