SAP ERP Financial Accounting -FI-TCS - Bangalore

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP ERP Financial Accounting (FI) Consultant with 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FI implementation, support, and enhancement projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional expertise in SAP Finance processes, excellent stakeholder management skills, and experience working in end-to-end SAP project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and support SAP FI modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.

Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

Perform system configuration, testing, defect resolution, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Work closely with business users and cross-functional teams, especially SAP CO, MM, SD, and ABAP.

Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Prepare functional documentation, process flows, and user manuals.

Conduct user training and provide post-go-live support.

Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and internal controls.

Required Skills

6+ years of experience in SAP ERP Financial Accounting (FI).

Strong expertise in GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Tax Configuration.

Experience in organizational structure setup and financial closing processes.

Knowledge of integration with SAP CO, MM, SD, and Treasury modules.

Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation and support/rollout projects.

Ability to prepare functional specifications for developments and enhancements.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
