Job Description: SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) Consultant

Location: Kolkata (On-site)

Experience: 6+ Years

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant with 6+ years of relevant experience in SAP Sales & Distribution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP SD processes while collaborating with business stakeholders to optimize sales and distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and provide SAP SD solutions aligned with organizational goals.
\n
• Configure and support SAP SD functionalities including Sales Order Processing, Shipping, Billing, Pricing, Credit Management, Returns, and Output Determination.
\n
• Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation, rollout, and support projects.
\n
• Work closely with business users to gather requirements, prepare functional specifications, and design solutions.
\n
• Configure pricing procedures, sales document types, item categories, schedule lines, and partner determination.
\n
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams involving MM, FI, WM/EWM, and PP modules.
\n
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, and defect resolution.
\n
• Provide production support and troubleshoot complex SAP SD issues.
\n
• Develop and maintain functional documentation, test cases, and user manuals.
\n
• Conduct user training sessions and support change management activities.
\n

Required Skills

\n
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SD.
\n
• Strong expertise in Sales Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Shipping, and Credit Management.
\n
• Experience in SAP SD configuration and customization.
\n
• Good understanding of integration with SAP MM, FI, and WM/EWM modules.
\n
• Experience in preparation of Functional Specifications (FS) and coordination with technical teams.
\n
• Strong knowledge of IDOCs, Interfaces, EDI, and output management.
\n
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Sales processes is preferred.
\n
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n
• SAP SD Certification preferred.
\n
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.
\n
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
\n
• Exposure to global rollout and support engagements.
\n

Educational Qualification

\n
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
\n
