- Hands-on experience with the configuration, implementation and troubleshooting of \n
- Cisco Wireless LAN Controller (WLC) and Access Points (APs). \n
- Cisco Prime Infrastructure / DNA Center \n
- Cisco ISE, RADIUS/AAA, 802.1X authentication \n
- Good understanding of: \n
- Wi-Fi standards (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) \n
- RF fundamentals, modulation, interference, roaming \n
- Wireless security (WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X, EAP types) \n
- Site survey tools like Ekahau, AirMagnet. \n
- Handle L2 wireless incidents, service requests, and user connectivity issues. \n
- Troubleshoot access point (AP) registration, client association, roaming, and authentication problems. \n
- Perform basic configuration changes on Cisco WLCs (AireOS / 9800 series) under guidance. \n
- Monitor wireless performance, alarms, and AP/WLC health through tools like Prime/DNAC. \n
- Assist with RF checks, channel/power adjustments, and coverage validations. \n
- Support onboarding of new APs, SSID updates, and floor map changes. \n
- Document resolutions, update SOPs, and provide inputs for knowledge base articles. \n
- Work closely with L3 teams for escalations and deeper RCA. \n
- Should be ready to work in 24X7 Shifts. \n
- Good Knowledge & Hands on experience on Cisco WLCs. \n
- Familiarity with DNAC, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, and basic spectrum analysis. \n
- Understanding of VLANs, routing basics, and network troubleshooting tools. \n
- ITIL Certification. \n
- Technical Certifications such as Cisco CCNA Wireless. \n
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities. \n
- Good communication and documentation skills. \n
