Job Description – Oracle DBA Role: Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle DBA) Experience: 4–6 Years Location: Mumbai Key Responsibilities : Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain Oracle databases in production and non-production environments. Monitor database performance, availability, and health to ensure optimal system uptime. Manage backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions using RMAN, RAC, and Data Guard. Perform database migrations, upgrades, cloning, and refresh activities across environments. Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize SQL queries, indexes, and database configurations. Implement database security standards including user management, encryption, and access controls. Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and support teams to resolve database-related issues. Required Skills Strong experience in Oracle Database Administration (11g/12c/19c or higher) . Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and OEM . Expertise in database backup & recovery, patching, upgrades, and migrations . Strong knowledge of SQL performance tuning , AWR, ASH, and ADDM reports. Experience in Oracle database security, TDE, Wallet, and user/role management. Good understanding of Linux/Unix administration and Shell scripting. Experience handling production support and critical incident management.
