Job Description

About the Role We are a SEBI-registered stock broking firm and Exchange Member seeking an experienced IT professional to manage, monitor, and secure our trading servers, network, and data center infrastructure with zero-downtime uptime standards. Key Responsibilities monitor, and maintain physical servers hosting trading, back office, and RMS applications Manage operating systems — Windows Server, Linux, and Ubuntu — including patching, updates, and hardening Administer Cisco routers, L3 switches, VLANs, and routing for trading and leased-line connectivity Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and network security policies Manage storage (SAN/NAS/RAID), backups, disaster recovery, and restoration testing Ensure uninterrupted connectivity with Exchange (NSE/BSE/MCX) leased lines, VSAT, and colocation/VPN links Monitor server health, latency, and performance; troubleshoot and resolve issues within trading hours Manage Active Directory, user access controls, antivirus, and endpoint security Maintain IT documentation, asset records, and support Exchange/SEBI cyber security audits and inspections Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and application/software providers for issue resolution Required Skills & Qualifications BCA / B.Tech / B.E. in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent Minimum 2 years of experience managing servers in a broking house (mandatory) Hands-on knowledge of Cisco devices, L3 switching, and enterprise networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT) Firewall configuration and management experience Physical server hardware and storage management experience Strong OS administration skills — Windows Server, Linux/Ubuntu Availability during pre-market, market, and post-market hours; readiness for on-call support. Preferred Exposure to SEBI Cyber Security & Cyber Resilience framework and VAPT audits Salary There is no bar for right candidate.
