Job Summary / Job Purpose:

To assist Head - FSC and FIG in client origination and also manage internal housekeeping/business strategy preparation to help achieve a targeted revenue at the year end
To help pitch to clients for new businesses and liaise with internal departments to ensure timely product and credit limit delivery to the clients. It's a global role with lots of international interface both with clients and internal stakeholders

Main Responsibilities:

In summary, the role will be that of a back-up RM (Relationship Manager) for FSG and FIG clients with following tasks:
Onboard new clients in these sectors.
Play active role in multi-product pitch book preparations for Debt Capital Market (DCM), Markets and Trade and Cash teams.
Work closely and regularly with other Business units like global markets and transaction banking and IB teams.
Continuously keep himself or herself updated on sectors like Financials. Fintech, Healthcare, Infrastructure (including renewables, highways and TMT) and Consumer.
Work closely with regional and global Risk//legal/compliance teams
For transactions with onshore NBFIs, play an important role of liaising with Mid office and operations
Assist with MIS /account planning/Budget preparation/strategy presentation etc. Review and management of Net Banking Income (NBI) reporting for the clients of the portfolio, with active participation to the corrections and forecast campaigns.
Assist in preparation of strategy notes, memos to risk etc. He/She will be required to provide quantitative stuff and analysis required for such memos by using own research as well as AI.
Preparation of Briefing memos when senior visitors come
Help in Implementation of new onshore lending transactions: in liaison with Operations/Mid office, review of loan documentation with Legal, compliance and operations.
For KYC (Know Your Customer)/ISDA (International Swaps and Derivatives Association)/CSA (Credit Support Annex) kind of discussions, the person can be trained and can play a coordinating role with client and internal teams
Maintain good networking in the market
Meeting internal legal and compliance guidelines on transactions

Academic Background (degree and major): CFA/CA/MBA will be preferred. For CA, inter can be considered.

Skills & Competencies required:

Interest in global capital markets
Understanding and ability to analyze cash flows, balance sheet and P&L of corporate structures at an intermediate level
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and work closely with all business lines.
Responsibility - high work ethics and integrity on which there is no tolerance
Clients - strong communication skills; ability to nurture a long-term relationship with clients; being able to listen to them in order to understand their needs
Commitment -being able to listen and demonstrate emotional intelligence to engage others
Team spirit - being able to develop synergies within the group
Fast learner

Language Skills: English, Hindi

Computer Skill: Should be very advanced in Excel and PPT skills since this will be critical in this job. Advanced AI skills would give an advantage.
