This role aims to synchronize the formation stage with upstream and downstream processes, guaranteeing product quality and adherence to both company and industry standards.\n\nResponsibilities\nSupervise the cell formation and aging processes, ensuring they're in line with established protocols and quality benchmarks.\nCollaborate with R&D teams to integrate advancements and refinements into the formation process, ensuring optimal cell performance.\nMonitor and optimize the formation and grading equipment, ensuring maximum uptime, efficiency, and precision.\nDrive continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing process efficiency, yield, and overall product quality.\nEnsure that safety protocols are strictly adhered to, minimizing risks in the high-voltage formation process.\nCoordinate with preceding (assembly) and succeeding (testing and packaging) departments to ensure seamless production flow.\nMentor, guide, and lead the formation team, emphasizing skill development, teamwork, and innovation.\nPeriodically review and analyze formation data, detecting trends, anomalies, or areas for improvement.\nDevelop and manage budgets related to the formation phase, ensuring cost-effectiveness and justifying investments when necessary.\nEngage with equipment suppliers and vendors, staying updated with technological advancements and ensuring timely maintenance and upgrades.\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.

An advanced degree in battery technology or related areas would be a strong advantage.\nCertifications in production management, process optimization, or Li-ion technology would add value.\nExperience\nMinimum of 6-10 years in Li-ion cell manufacturing or related fields, with specific expertise in the cell formation process.\nDemonstrated capability in leading technical teams and optimizing high-tech production processes.\nComprehensive knowledge of the intricacies and nuances of the Li-ion cell formation process.\nStrong leadership abilities with a knack for guiding and motivating teams.\nAnalytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.\nAbility to work collaboratively across departments, ensuring a synchronized production process.\nIn-depth understanding of safety protocols specific to high-voltage cell formation.\nExceptional problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to challenges.\nEffective communication skills, allowing clear conveyance of technical information to both experts and non-experts
