Job Summary

We are seeking a careful and patient-focused Phlebotomist to perform blood collection procedures and support laboratory diagnostic services in Singapore. The successful candidate will ensure accurate specimen collection while maintaining high standards of patient care, safety, and infection control.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures safely and accurately
• Prepare patients for blood collection and explain procedures clearly
• Label, handle, and transport specimens according to laboratory protocols
• Maintain accurate patient and specimen records
• Ensure compliance with infection control and healthcare safety standards
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during or after blood collection
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of phlebotomy equipment and work areas
• Support laboratory and healthcare teams when required

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Phlebotomy, Medical Laboratory Technology, or related healthcare field
• Relevant phlebotomy experience preferred
• Knowledge of specimen handling and infection control procedures
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
• Registration or licensing requirements (if applicable in Singapore)
