Overview As a Associate - Planning , you will play a critical role in forecasting and managing demand to optimize supply chain resource planning and ensure customer satisfaction. You will utilize data analysis, statistical techniques, and market insights to develop accurate demand forecasts and drive strategic decision-making within the organization.

Your efforts will contribute directly to the company's success by ensuring efficient supply chain operations and meeting customer demand effectively. Key Responsibilities Demand Forecasting: Utilize historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors to develop accurate demand forecasts. Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that impact demand, utilizing tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, and Data Science modelling.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams—including sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain—to gather insights, align on forecast assumptions, and communicate demand expectations. Forecast Accuracy Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine forecasting models and methodologies to improve forecast accuracy and reduce forecast error. Demand Planning Process: Drive the demand planning process from demand review meetings to consensus forecasting, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders and departments.

Performance Metrics: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy and service levels, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, the competitive landscape, and macroeconomic factors to anticipate changes in demand patterns and adjust forecasts accordingly. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and system enhancements to streamline demand planning processes and improve efficiency.

What We Are Looking For Skills Required Strong Problem-Solving Ability: Demonstrate structured thinking, robust analytical skills, and a strong orientation towards processes. Strong Data Analytics: Highly proficient in Advanced Excel, SQL, and Python. Highly Action-Oriented: At Myntra, we foster a culture that values proactive action and swift implementation.

The incoming candidate should demonstrate ownership of projects from conceptualization through to execution. Agility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs. Education and Experience Required Education: BE/BTech from a Tier 1 institute. Experience: 0–2 years of professional experience. Industry Exposure: Professional experience in E-commerce, Retail, or Analytics.
