We are waiting for you to join us and do the best work of your life.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n- Practices excellent leadership and communication skills to influence and lead teams and to evangelize AI science across the organization\n\n- Leads team’s work in one or more of: ML, NLP, Statistics, or Optimization, performs hand‑on work in these domains.\n\n- Weighs ROI considerations of general and tailored capabilities for projects in the team\n\n- Creates new capabilities that solve critical business problems\n\n- Pushes the boundaries of ML by developing foundational methods and novel applications from state‑of‑the‑art ML technologies and industry trends\n\n- Influences business leaders to shape mission critical projects\n\n- Creates multi‑year vision that connects product strategy with technology strategy\n\n- Drives architecture decisions, influences and contributes to ML platform architecture and strategy\n\n- Leads team and partners to the successful delivery and integration of ML solutions\n\n- Conducts design reviews, holds teams to technical and operational rigor.\n\n- Acts as an advisor in overseeing and mentoring the work of colleagues towards the building of a vibrant practice community.\n\nQualifications\n\n- PhD/MS in Engineering Mathematics, Statistics, Theoretical/Computational Physics, or related field\n\n- Prior experience / qualifications in Marketing platforms, media management. If you have a background in Cognitive sciences / Human Psychology (Consumers, Buyers, Supporters, Detractors, Group behavioral sciences), this is the role for you.\n\n- Solid knowledge of statistical techniques\n\n- 3+ years as either a lead in a AI science role or in a management position in AI science\n\n- Strong communication skills and proven experience as an influencer at the executive level\n\n- Hands‑on programming experience and expert knowledge in one or more of: ML, NLP, Statistics, or Optimization\n\n- 6+ years’ experience manipulating large datasets and using databases (e.g. R, SQL, S-Plus, etc.)\n\n- 6+ years’ experience with a general‑purpose programming language (e.g.

Python, Scala, etc.)\n\n- Expert knowledge and hands‑on experience with ML pipelines, processes, and design patterns\n\n- Proven track record of influencing business leaders to shape mission critical projects\n\n- Proven track record of leading team to successful delivery of ML solutions\n\n- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to effectively contribute to technical teams and make presentations to a variety of technical and business personnel\n\nCompensation and Benefits\n\nIntuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach.
