The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled SAP CALM Consultant to implement, configure, and manage SAP Cloud ALM for Application Lifecycle Management across SAP S/4HANA and other cloud landscapes. The ideal candidate will drive implementation like project management, change and deployment, test management, other testing tools , operations like monitoring, business process operations, integration monitoring, and ensure efficient DevOps practices using SAP Cloud ALM.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree with 9-12 years of experience in configuring and managing SAP Solution Manager.
• Extensive experience in configuring SAP Solution Manager functionalities, including CHARM, Focused Build, Solution Documentation, BPMON, Test Management, Template Management, and Best Practice Content.
• Proficient in configuring SAP Cloud ALM for Requirement Management, Change and Deployment Management, Process Management, Project Management, Documentation Management, Task Management, Test Management, and Analytics.
• Strong ability to design and configure SAP Solution Manager 7.2 and SAP Cloud ALM to support the implementation of SAP S/4HANA ERP solutions.
• Collaborate with functional, technical, and governance teams to optimize SAP Solution Manager and SAP Cloud ALM functionality.
• Utilize deep product knowledge to identify and communicate how IT solutions enhance operational efficiency.
• Lead SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) and SAP Cloud ALM initiatives, including developing and executing a strategic roadmap, driving new functionalities, and managing upgrades.
• Partner with governance, functional, and technical teams to improve and execute SolMan offerings effectively.
• Act as the product owner for Solution Manager and SAP Cloud ALM managing sprints, backlogs, and product priorities.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for operational execution, troubleshooting, and support, including leading and participating in projects, minor/major releases, and reviewing system-related tickets for accuracy and priority.
• Analyze, design, customize, and manage SAP Solution Manager and SAP Cloud ALM implementations, covering both technical usage and solution implementation. Strong working experience with RISE with SAP environments and operational activities.
• Strong documentation skills for system delivery, ensuring clear, structured, and auditready technical documentation.

Skills and attributes for success

• Experience in deploying Focused Build for S/4HANA implementation.
• Good knowledge of Focused Run, Focused Insights, and SAP Basis.
• Exposure to SAP Solution Manager / Focused Run is beneficial
• Valuable knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices
• Flexibility to handle SAP Basis activities as needed.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Good to have SAP Cloud ALM Certification and SAP BTP Certification
