Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities)

Cisco Secure Access (SSE) Consultant. We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Cisco Secure Access (SSE) Consultant. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Cisco's SSE solutions, including cloud-delivered security, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), and Firewall-as-a-Service (FWaaS).

Strong understanding of SSE architecture including ZTNA, SWG, CASB, and FWaaS.

Hands-on experience with Cisco Secure Access solutions such as Cisco Umbrella, Duo Security, and Secure Firewall.

Design and implement SSE solutions tailored to enterprise security needs

Integrate SSE with existing infrastructure including SD-WAN, VPN, and identity providers.

Knowledge of cloud security principles and experience with securing SaaS applications.

Experience with policy creation and enforcement using Cisco Umbrella and Duo.

Troubleshooting and incident response skills for SSE-related issues.

Understanding of identity and access management (IAM) and integration with Cisco Duo.

Ability to conduct security assessments and recommend SSE improvements.

Familiarity with Cisco SecureX for unified threat visibility and response.

Experience with logging and monitoring tools integrated with SSE platforms.

Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) in SSE deployments.

Strong communication and documentation skills for client-facing engagements.

Ability to train and mentor junior engineers on SSE technologies.

Cisco certifications preferred (e.g., CCNP Security)
