About Vericence
Vericence is a digital engineering and technology consulting firm helping enterprises build AI-driven platforms, modernize legacy systems, and scale innovation through cloud, data, and intelligent engineering. We partner with global organizations to deliver high-impact technology solutions and build world-class engineering teams.
We are seeking a Platform Engineer with 7+ years of overall IT experience to contribute to the development of an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) centered around Backstage and GitHub Actions. The engineer should have hands-on experience creating developer self-service workflows, automation templates, CI/CD pipelines, and platform integrations.
Required skills:
- Backstage, including software templates, catalog, and integrations
- GitHub Actions for workflow automation
- Platform engineering / DevOps experience
- Developer self-service workflow design
- YAML, scripting, REST APIs, and automation
Preferred skills:
- Terraform
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, or Argo CD
- Experience with golden paths, IDPs, or developer portals
