Procurement Intern

TRINCOS is an e-commerce platform focused on sourcing and selling IT hardware, software, electronics, business technology products, and enterprise infrastructure solutions. We supply products such as laptops, desktops, networking equipment, servers, storage devices, software licenses, peripherals, accessories, and other technology solutions for businesses and customers.

We are looking for a motivated Procurement Intern to support our procurement team in sourcing hardware and software products for sale on our e-commerce platform.

Role Overview

The Procurement Intern will assist the procurement team with supplier research, product sourcing, price comparison, stock availability checks, purchase documentation, and product data collection.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to gain practical experience in procurement, e-commerce, vendor management, IT hardware sourcing, and commercial operations. The intern will support day-to-day purchasing activities while learning how procurement decisions affect pricing, product availability, margins, customer experience, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Product Sourcing Support

Assist in sourcing IT hardware, software, electronics, and accessories for sale on trincos.com.

Research suppliers, distributors, wholesalers, and vendors for products such as:

• Laptops and desktops
• Monitors and peripherals
• Networking products
• Servers and storage devices
• Printers and scanners
• Software licenses
• Business IT accessories
• Data center and infrastructure hardware

Collect product details including specifications, model numbers, part numbers, warranty information, availability, and supplier pricing.

Supplier Research & Communication

Identify potential local and international suppliers.

Contact suppliers to request quotations, product availability, lead times, payment terms, and warranty details.

Maintain supplier contact lists and update vendor information regularly.

Support the procurement team in comparing supplier offers and identifying the best available options.

Assist in following up with suppliers regarding quotations, order status, delivery timelines, and documentation.

Price Comparison & Market Research

Conduct price comparisons across suppliers, competitors, marketplaces, and online stores.

Help track market pricing trends for IT hardware and software products.

Support the team in identifying competitive pricing opportunities for the e-commerce platform.

Collect competitor pricing data to help improve TRINCOS’ product pricing strategy.

Assist in identifying high-demand, fast-moving, and profitable product categories.

E-Commerce Product Support

Work with the e-commerce team to gather product information for online listings.

Support product listing preparation by collecting:

• Product titles
• Descriptions
• Technical specifications
• Images
• Brand details
• SKU codes
• Manufacturer part numbers
• Warranty information
• Stock availability
• Supplier cost

Ensure product information is accurate, complete, and ready for upload to the website.

Purchase Order & Documentation Support

Assist in preparing purchase orders, quotation comparisons, and procurement records.

Maintain organized files for supplier quotations, invoices, product details, and purchase documentation.

Help update procurement trackers, stock sheets, pricing sheets, and supplier databases.

Support the team in checking invoice details against quotations and purchase orders.

Assist with basic reporting on procurement activity, supplier pricing, and product availability.

Inventory & Availability Tracking

Help monitor stock availability for key products.

Update internal records with supplier stock levels and expected delivery dates.

Support the team in identifying products that need to be restocked.

Assist in tracking delayed orders, discontinued products, and alternative product options.

Help reduce stockouts by keeping availability information up to date.

Bulk & Enterprise Procurement Support

Assist with sourcing products for bulk orders and business customer requirements.

Support the procurement team in gathering pricing and availability for custom quotes.

Help prepare supplier comparison sheets for large-volume hardware or software requirements.

Coordinate with internal teams to collect product details needed for enterprise customer proposals.
