About the Role:

Step into a rewarding and dynamic role within the Peri-Operative Service at Canberra Hospital, a high-performing and diverse environment that supports a broad range of surgical specialties. This comprehensive service includes the Day of Surgery Admissions Unit, 22 operating theatres, Post Anaesthetic Care Unit, Extended Day Surgery Unit, and several specialised procedural areas, offering a fast-paced and stimulating setting for professional growth.

As a Clinical Development Nurse, you will be recognised as a clinical leader and a trusted source of expert nursing knowledge, bringing advanced skills and a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You will play a pivotal role in supporting and developing nursing staff, providing mentorship and guidance to foster confidence, capability, and best practice across the team. Your ability to combine expert clinical judgement with hands-on care will ensure high-quality outcomes and a consistently safe and effective patient experience.

Working within a collaborative and supportive team, you will contribute to shaping clinical practice, strengthening capability, and enhancing the overall standard of peri-operative care.
