Title and Summary

Director, Product Management (Commercialization)

Overview

Mastercard’s Services organization is a key growth engine, delivering innovative solutions that help our customers thrive. By integrating proprietary data, cutting-edge technology, expert insights, and strategic expertise, Services plays a critical role in driving Mastercard’s differentiation and business growth.

The Consumer Acquisition & Engagement (CA&E) team provides a wide range of loyalty, personalization, marketing services and media programs. These solutions enable issuers to acquire, activate, and engage cardholders driving overall card usage, retention and brand preference. We are seeking a Director of Commercialization to support the commercialization and go-to-market efforts of key CA&E products and platforms in North America, including Mastercard Commerce Media, Marketing Services, Loyalty and Personalization.

This role leads high impact sales engagement and enablement across NAM CA&E solutions, directly supporting pipeline growth and revenue acceleration. It serves as a strategic link between Sales Segment Leads, Services Business Leads, Account Managers, and Product - aligning priorities, translating product capabilities, and enabling teams to consistently deliver customer centric value propositions.

The role partners closely with Sales Segment Leads to drive continuous learning, adoption, and effective deployment of CA&E solutions, providing the tools, content, and client facing support needed to advance opportunities through the pipeline. This includes supporting client meetings, workshops, and executive level engagements to strengthen deal progression and conversion.

The individual leads the strategic positioning and commercialization of CA&E in enterprise RFPs and large client opportunities across various segments, orchestrating cross functional stakeholders to deliver cohesive, value driven narratives and customer level commercial models - including P4P and channel partner solutions. They develop bundled and synergistic offerings for priority customer segments, leveraging existing products to support 1:1, OCI/MIF, and other complex commercial opportunities.

In partnership with Global teams, the role creates and localizes content that translates global narratives into market and client relevant materials, directly enabling Sales to drive pipeline creation and expansion. Through strong stakeholder leadership and scalable processes, the role improves alignment, execution, and effectiveness across teams.

The ideal candidate is business savvy, consultative, and thrives in fast paced environments. A standout communicator, they craft insight driven proposals, deliver compelling power point presentations, and create high impact content - bringing urgency, ownership, and clarity to complex, cross functional initiatives.

Role

• Drive Growth: Support the expansion of the CA&E business across North America by aligning sales strategies with customer and market needs
• Sales Plays: Partner with Sales, Product Management and other teams to gather segment and customer needs and insights, and translate them into sales enablement deliverables including proposals and RFPs.
• Tailor Customer and Segment Narratives: Customize product messaging for diverse customer segments and needs
• Enablement Materials: Collaborate with teams across to produce compelling sales tools, training materials, resources and content
• Presentations: Create and deliver engaging presentations for internal and external stakeholders

All About You

• Proven experience in product marketing, consulting or product management, with demonstrated ability to engage customers and drive business objectives
• Strong business acumen and a track record of delivering innovative, customer-centric narratives
• Strong communication skills for expectation and cross-functional team alignment
• Excellent writing skills, experience with creating engaging decks and presentations that are clear, attractive and effective
• Exceptional networking, communication, and storytelling skills, with a strong focus on results and urgency
• Consultative mindset with the ability to craft compelling, customer-tailored narratives
• Deep understanding of consumer, industry, and market trends
• Creative problem solver with the ability to generate “out of the box” solutions and build alignment across diverse teams
• Growth-oriented and adaptable, thriving in fast-paced, rapidly evolving environments
• Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree or equivalent experience
