Job Summary
Junior Network / Firewall Engineer with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in network security and firewall administration.
The candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise firewall and IPS environments, along with performing firmware upgrades, OS patching, and signature updates.

Key Responsibilities

. Manage and support enterprise firewall infrastructure including: Cisco FMC Palo Alto Firewalls FortiGate Firewalls FortiAnalyzer
. Perform firewall policy configuration, rule creation, and change management.
. Monitor firewall and IPS alerts, logs, and security events.
. Handle Cisco IPS maintenance including signature updates and health checks.
. Perform OS upgrades, firmware updates, and security patching for network security devices.
. Troubleshoot network connectivity and firewall-related issues.
. Maintain documentation for configurations, policies, and operational procedures.
. Coordinate with internal teams for incident resolution and change implementation.
. Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

. 4–5 years of experience in network security and firewall administration.
. Hands-on experience with: Cisco FMC Palo Alto Firewall FortiGate Firewall FortiAnalyzer
. Strong knowledge of firewall policies, NAT, VPNs, and IPS concepts.
. Experience in Cisco IPS signature updates and maintenance activities.
. Knowledge of firmware upgrades, OS patching, and vulnerability remediation.
. Good understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting.
. Familiarity with monitoring and log analysis tools.
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

. Any certifications such as: Any Cloud Security PCNS Certifications
. Experience working in enterprise or managed services environments.
. Knowledge of ITIL processes and change management.
