Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchase Executive with experience in the fabrication/manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for procurement of raw materials, vendor management, purchase coordination, and ensuring timely availability of materials for smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities
Handle procurement of fabrication materials, raw materials, consumables, hardware, and engineering items.
Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors and suppliers.
Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate for best commercial terms.
Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, and Accounts departments.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure uninterrupted material supply.
Maintain purchase records, vendor database, and documentation.
Ensure material quality and compliance with specifications.
Support cost reduction and alternate vendor development activities.

Required Skills
Knowledge of fabrication materials, steel items, and industrial consumables.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Good understanding of procurement processes.
Knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/SAP systems preferred.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualification
Any Graduate / Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. (Mechanical preferred)
Experience in fabrication or manufacturing industry preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
2-5 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement.
Experience in fabrication, sheet metal, engineering, or manufacturing industry.

Immediate joiners preferred.
