The organization is a key supplier of blanks and copper alloy strips to governments and industries worldwide
and is looking for experienced Purchase Executives to strengthen its procurement and sourcing operations.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Purchase Executive with strong expertise in vendor development, commercial negotiations, procurement planning, and import purchasing.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring cost-effective procurement, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and qualify vendors for raw materials, consumables, and capital items.
Negotiate commercial terms including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and supply agreements.
Handle import procurement activities including LC/TT documentation, customs coordination, freight forwarding, and duty optimization.
Manage annual rate contracts and long-term supply agreements with strategic vendors.
Conduct price benchmarking, market analysis, and cost reduction initiatives.
Coordinate with Production, Stores, Finance, Quality, and Logistics departments for procurement requirements.
Monitor supplier performance regarding quality, delivery, compliance, and cost parameters.
Resolve procurement-related issues and ensure timely material availability.
Maintain purchase records, MIS reports, ERP transactions, and procurement documentation.
Support inventory optimization and procurement planning activities.

Required Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement within a manufacturing organization.
Must have worked in a company with annual turnover of ? Crores or above.
Hands-on experience in vendor development, commercial negotiations, and import procurement.
Knowledge of metals, alloys, industrial raw materials, and manufacturing procurement preferred.
Graduate in Engineering / Commerce / Science.
MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain Management or Materials Management preferred.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, Finsys, etc.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
