Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js to join a dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services and APIs that support enterprise-grade applications. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on development experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using Node.js.
Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices to support web and mobile applications.
Develop server-side logic, business workflows, and integrations with third-party systems.
Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, business analysts, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and development issues.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and development guidelines.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design activities.
Develop and maintain technical documentation.
Contribute to CI/CD processes and deployment activities.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+).
Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
Proficiency with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks.
Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
Experience working with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.
Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth).
Experience with Git and version control systems.
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
