Role Overview

\n
\n

The Engineer / Senior Engineer – Formwork Execution will be responsible for planning, supervising, and monitoring formwork activities at the project site . The role involves coordinating with tower execution teams to ensure efficient installation, cycling, dismantling, and maintenance of formwork systems including Aluminium Formwork, Conventional Formwork, Safety Screen Climbing Systems, and Automatic Climbing Systems (ACS).

The position will report to the Manager – Formwork Execution and will support smooth formwork operations across the project.

Key Responsibilities

Formwork Execution

\n
\n
• \n

  Supervise installation, alignment, and dismantling of formwork systems at site.

\n
• \n

  Ensure proper execution of formwork activities for columns, walls, beams, slabs, and shear walls .

\n
• \n

  Monitor daily formwork operations and coordinate with tower execution teams .

\n
\n

Formwork Systems Management

\n
\n
• \n

  Work with different formwork systems including:

  \n

  Aluminium Formwork Systems

  \n

  Conventional Formwork Systems

  \n

  Safety Screen Climbing Systems

  \n

  Automatic Climbing Systems (ACS)

\n
• \n

  Ensure correct assembly and safe operation of climbing and protection systems.

\n
\n

Cycle Time & Productivity Monitoring

\n
\n
• \n

  Track formwork cycle time for slabs and vertical elements .

\n
• \n

  Coordinate with tower teams to ensure timely shifting and reuse of formwork materials .

\n
• \n

  Identify productivity issues and support improvements in formwork operations.

\n
\n

Technical Coordination

\n
\n
• \n

  Coordinate with Tower Incharges, Engineers, and Supervisors for proper sequencing of formwork activities.

\n
• \n

  Provide technical guidance regarding formwork installation and structural requirements .

\n
• \n

  Resolve technical issues related to formwork alignment, shuttering, and cycling .

\n
\n

Safety & Quality Control

\n
\n
• \n

  Ensure formwork systems are installed as per safety guidelines and manufacturer recommendations .

\n
• \n

  Conduct regular inspections to ensure structural stability and dimensional accuracy .

\n
• \n

  Ensure compliance with project quality standards .

\n
\n

Material & Inventory Monitoring

\n
\n
• \n

  Monitor formwork material usage and availability at site.

\n
• \n

  Ensure proper storage, maintenance, and handling of formwork components .

\n
• \n

  Report material damage, shortages, or repair requirements.

\n
\n

Documentation & Reporting

\n
\n
• \n

  Maintain records of formwork cycle progress, usage, and site activities .

\n
• \n

  Prepare daily and weekly progress reports related to formwork execution.

\n
• \n

  Coordinate with planning teams for formwork scheduling and tracking .

\n
\n

Technical Skills Required

  Strong understanding of formwork systems used in high-rise construction

• \n

  Hands-on experience in:

  Aluminium Formwork

  \n

  Conventional Formwork

  \n

  Safety Screen Climbing Systems

  \n

  Automatic Climbing Systems (ACS)

• \n

  Ability to read structural drawings and shuttering layouts

\n
• \n

  Knowledge of formwork cycling and high-rise construction sequencing

• \n

  Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD
