Key Responsibilities

\n

Project Planning & Execution \n

\n
• Align engineering deliverables with overall project schedules in coordination with Planning teams
\n
• Conduct periodic project reviews to track progress and ensure timely execution
\n
• Manage multiple engineering deliverables and ensure on-time completion
\n

Design & Engineering Management \n

\n
• Review and approve designs, drawings, and calculations before client submission
\n
• Provide technical clarifications to Civil, MEP, and Instrumentation teams
\n
• Identify and mitigate design risks, delays, and technical challenges
\n

Vendor & Procurement Coordination \n

\n
• Interface with vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure timely material delivery
\n
• Support vendor evaluation, finalization, and procurement activities
\n
• Facilitate manufacturing clearance and ensure compliance with specifications
\n

Estimation & Documentation \n

\n
• Validate BOM and support BOQ preparation
\n
• Review pre-bid inputs, technical submissions, and post-tender clarifications
\n

Team & Stakeholder Management \n

\n
• Lead and mentor Design Engineers, Leads, and Draughtspersons
\n
• Plan resources effectively to improve productivity and efficiency
\n
• Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders for smooth project execution
\n

Site & Commercial Support \n

\n
• Support site teams with technical and commercial inputs, including billing certification
\n
• Ensure clarity on client deliverables and execution requirements
\n

Process Improvement \n

\n
• Drive BIM implementation across projects
\n
• Improve engineering processes and workflows
\n

\n

Technical Expertise \n

\n

\n
• Strong experience in Primary & Secondary Engineering
\n
• Expertise in AIS/GIS Substations up to 765 kV
\n
• Hands-on experience in:
\n
• Power Transformers & Reactors
\n
• Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors, Relays
\n
• Instrument Transformers
\n
• Knowledge of:
\n
• Earthing, Lightning Protection, and Cabling systems
\n
• Protection schemes, SCADA, and control systems
\n
• Multi-disciplinary coordination (Civil, MEP, Instrumentation)
\n
• Strong understanding of:
\n
• Vendor engineering & fabrication practices
\n
• Contract specifications and project compliance
\n
• EPC project execution across geographies
\n
