We are looking for candidates to take the role of Infrastructure Engineer and help us to:

Engineer, test and deploy features and releases for the IBM (International Business Machines) MQ (Message Queue) product.
Assist in keeping the IBM MQ Messaging platform stable, performant, secure and compliant with UBS policies.
Design, develop and deploy the next generation cloud-based ecosystem for the IBM MQ product.

The key responsibilities are:

Develop and improve application hosting infrastructure services, with a focus on the IBM MQ product and its associated supporting infrastructure.
Provide hosting and deployment services that are easy to consume and efficient to operate, both on-prem and in the cloud - making effective use of cloud capabilities on the Azure platform.
Apply a broad range of engineering practices, in an agile context based on Scrum. From analyzing requirements and developing new features to automated testing, deployment, and operations. With emphasis on Gitlab, the key tooling.
Ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements.
Build observability into our solutions to monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues.
Learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind.
