Interested candidates, kindly mail to [email protected]\n\nJob Purpose\n\nThe Senior Drilling Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and executing drilling and completion operations for clean energy-related well programs. The role focuses on delivering wells safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively while driving continuous improvement in drilling performance, engineering standards, and operational capability.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n• Plan and engineer drilling and completion programs, including well design, casing design, mud programs, well trajectories, and execution strategies.\n\n• Support end-to-end well delivery activities from planning and engineering through drilling, completion, and project closeout.\n\n• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, regulatory requirements, company policies, and well integrity guidelines throughout all phases of operations.\n\n• Monitor drilling performance, Non-Productive Time (NPT), operational costs, and drilling risks, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and performance.\n\n• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through post-well reviews, lessons learned, performance benchmarking, and standardization of engineering practices.\n\n• Coordinate with drilling contractors, service providers, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure operational readiness and successful execution of well programs.\n\n• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and on-the-job support to junior engineers and field personnel.\n\n• Support contractor performance evaluations, technical bid reviews, tender assessments, and cost optimization initiatives.\n\n• Prepare technical reports, drilling performance summaries, engineering analyses, and management dashboards.\n\n• Participate in risk assessments, contingency planning, and operational reviews to ensure safe and reliable execution of drilling activities.\n\n• Support the implementation of new technologies, digital solutions, and best practices to enhance drilling performance and well delivery outcomes.\n\nQualifications & Skills\n\n• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from a recognized university.\n\n• 5–10 years of experience in drilling engineering and well delivery, preferably including exposure to complex, directional, horizontal, or unconventional well environments.\n\n• Strong technical expertise in well planning, drilling operations, completion activities, and service execution.\n\n• Demonstrated experience in performance optimization, continuous improvement initiatives, and application of lessons learned across drilling campaigns.\n\n• Ability to guide, mentor, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams without direct line management responsibility.\n\n• Sound understanding of HSE systems, well integrity management, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance requirements.\n\n• Experience working with drilling contractors, service companies, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.\n\n• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\n\n• Proficiency in drilling engineering software, reporting tools, and data analysis applications.\n\n• Willingness to travel to project and operating sites as required by business needs, with flexibility for relocation when necessary.\n\nInterested candidates, kindly mail to [email protected]
