Foster robust relationships with key internal teams and travel across sites spread across India for crucial interactions.\n\nAbout the team\nIN-Engineering team is responsible for Layout Design & Engineering of Amazon operated buildings in India. We do Solution Engineering, Design of MHE, Warehouse Automation, Storage & 4M and Controls Engineering. We work on existing buildings to retrofits for capacity enhancement through structural changes to improve productivity, safety & associate experience.

We create future templates as per business requirements while introducing technology & innovation in Operation process path.\nWe create operation layouts with man & material flow, storage & processing, cafeteria, L&D area, amenities block, dock, yard, MEP service utilities with vehicle and truck parking. We get the design signed off by stakeholders that include ACES, Operations, Safety, RME, SLP, HR, IT and WW Engineering team. We are responsible to release Shelving & MHE Automation RFP and their design approval with IQ/OQ support.

For new building launch, we provide the Processing 4M to project team. We do vendor evaluation to introduce new vendors for Shelving, Cart, Workstation and MHE.\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\n- 1+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (MRT) experience\n- 1+ years of Microsoft Office applications experience\n- Associate's degree, or 2+ years of professional or military experience\n- high school diploma or equivalent\n- Knowledge of systems controls\n- Knowledge of Basic Mathematics\n- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays\n- Experience identifying, maintaining, and utilizing SCADA systems and KPI's\n- Work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays\n- Can commute to the specified work site\n- Can complete a 12-week training program at a designated training provider\n- Can commit to a 2-year onsite apprenticeship following a 12-week training period\n- Experience with Ladder Logic and structure programming from Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Codesys PLCs\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\n- Associate's degree in electronic technology or equivalent\n- Experience in field service engineering\n- Experience electrical, mechanical, or controls field\n- Experience with PLC-controlled automation and issue diagnosis in a continuous process or production environment\n- Experience with robotics work cells and control systems\n- Experience with electrical theory, robotics, controls components, and automated equipment\n- Experience interpreting, modifying, and developing mechanical and electrical drawings\n\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
