The candidate should have strong experience in Cisco Routing / Switching and an overview of Firewall and Cloud technologies in order to be able to understand the overall traffic flow and support the Network Edge (CNC) environment in the most optimal way.\n\nThe candidate should have around 6-10 years of relevant Infrastructure experience with excellent hands on experience on Cisco Routing, Switching and Data center Technologies. The other Technologies involved in this role are as mentioned below.\n\nExperience/Domain Knowledge needed:\nPrimary Skills (L3 Level expertise - mandatory requirement):\nCisco Routing / Switching - Primary skill\nCisco Data center Technologies\n\nA fundamental grasp of AI tools will be an added benefit.\n\nSecondary Skills (Secondary skills - good to have):\nCisco ACI\nCheckpoint Firewalls\nAWS / Azure Cloud Technologies\nVirtualisation (VMWare / Nutanix)\nSDWAN\n\nResponsibilities:\nSupport with design, implementation and upgrade of Layer 2 and Layer 3 infrastructure using Cisco Nexus and IOS XE routers/switches for the global Cisco Network Edge (CNC) solution in Allianz.\nProvide L2/L3 level Escalation Operational support for the Cisco Network Edge (CNC) solution.\nOwn and evolve the enterprise routing and switching architecture, including data center and WAN connectivity.\nIncident / Change and Problem Management support for the Global Cisco Network Edge (CNC) solution.\nWorking closely with Vendors (e.g. Cisco) and Service providers for escalated issues until resolution.\nCollaborating with Architecture, Engineering and various internal and external delivery and support teams for ensuring Optimal support for the Allianz Cisco Network Edge (CNC) solution.\nConduct performance analysis, capacity planning, and disaster recovery planning for network infrastructure.\nProactively managing client engagement, technology lifecycle development, and planning and coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders\nCreating presentations and demonstrations related to technology, process, or client solutions as necessary.\nSupport the Information Security Officer and the Audit Units for periodic Audits / PT on the Cisco Network Edge (CNC) solution.\nDocumentation of infrastructure design, procedures and processes as part of Operational support activities.\nMentoring and provide Technical guidance for the L1 Cisco Network Edge (CNC) Operations teams, as needed.\nMust be flexible to support 24/7 operations as required and willingness to provide on-call support outside regular business hours.\n\nAllianz Group is one of the most trusted insurance and asset management companies in the world.
