Your day at NTT DATA

The Security Managed Services Engineer (L1) is responsible for providing a managed service to clients to ensure that their Firewall infrastructure remain operational through proactively identifying, investigating, and routing the incidents to correct resolver group. Their primary objective is to ensure zero missed service level agreement (SLA) conditions. This role focuses on first-line support for standard and low complexity incidents and service requests.

This role may also contribute to / support on project work as and when required.

What you'll be doing

• Assessment and management of Data Protection breaches under the direction of the Senior Manager, Data Breaches and Issues and in collaboration with members of the Information Rights team and other units as needed (including working with the Data Protection Officer and the senior managers to notify the Information Commissioner’s Office of reportable personal data breaches)
• Adhere to SOPs, customer Run Books and standard processes to ensure a globally consistent delivery whilst also proposing changes and improvements to these standards
• Utilise and document best practices and amend existing documentation as required
• Security incident handling and response from several vectors including End Point Protection and Enterprise Detection and response tools, attack analysis, malware analysis, network forensics, computer forensics.,
• Utilise a broad range of skills in LAN technologies, Windows and Linux O/S’s, and general security infrastructure.
• Ensure usage of knowledge articles in incident diagnosis and resolution
• Perform defined tasks to inform and monitor service delivery against service level agreements and maintain records of relevant information
• Need to take backup for all SOC devices on daily basis and need to move the backup to external storage.
• Firewall policy optimization & fine tuning based on the Algosec firewall analyser.
• Maintain the firewall policy security rating above 95%
• Perform version upgradation, patch update & SOC device restoration.



Academic Qualifications

• B.E, Btech ( Except Mechanical, Civil and aerospace )
• No 3 years degree program eligible
• MCA is eligible
