About the company: A SEBI registered alternative investment fund (category-III), iis focused on developing and strategizing robust financial market strategies for Indian and global markets. They are focused on generating absolute returns for our clients using quantitative and algorithmic models, being tested on reliable retro data and on different market parameters and conditions

Responsibilities for Statistician:
• Refer to previous instances and findings to determine the ideal method for gathering data.
• Research problem and determine the data required to answer specific questions and problems.
• Defining and Identifying stock market movements form the large pool of trading data.
• Developing quantitative and statistical trading models for stock and commodity market.
• Defining and creating complex statistical models to create robust trading system.
• Defining and Identifying repetitive and harmonic patterns of stock market trading.
• Defining and identifying different complex market behaviour and test them with quantitative and statistical models.
• Defining and creating complex High Frequency Trading (HFT) models.
• Creating Predictive Model based on past data series to predict future market movements and patterns.
• Train assistants and other members of the team how to properly organize findings and read data collected.
• Prepare detailed reports for management and other departments by analyzing and interpreting data.
• Compare and analyse provided statistical information to identify patterns, relationships and problems
• Apply sampling techniques to effectively determine and define ideal categories to be questioned

Qualifications for Statistician:
• Bachelor's/Master’s/Ph.D. degree in mathematics, statistics or related field.
• Excellent mathematics, statistical and analytical skills are essential to complete job requirements successfully.
• Able to compile and organize statistical information retrieved and present findings to management.
• Ability to work with complex and logical data collection and interpretation.
• Confident in decision making and the ability to explain processes or choices as needed.
• Strong computer skills and ability to use necessary databases and software. (Like Ms-Excel, SQL, Python, R).
• Knowledge of statistical ratios for financial market and their use in decision making process.
• Knowledge of different statistical decision making models for financial market.
• Knowledge of stock market operations, technical analysis and trading will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and its implementation in stock market stating will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of High Frequency Trading (HFT) and related stock market trading strategies will be an advantage.
• Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent multitasking skills and task management strategies.
