JOB TITLE: Production Merchandiser\nFUNCTIONAL AREA: Apparel - Western Wear\nREPORTS TO: Category Head\n\nPOSITION’S OBJECTIVE: (Brief on position’s objective)\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nOrder Management:\nOn time placement and Pre production closures as per D2S timelines\nClosure of final cost post Order placement as per GP Targets & agreed timelines\nWorking in tandem with sourcing team and ensure on time delivery in full\nSolving daily production related issues for vendor and sourcing partner\nEnsure timely Sample handover to PPC (post Buy meet) along with tech packs, DP PO creation (within 1 month of order placemen), releasing excel PO’s. and code creation.\nRegular Store visits & competition visits to identify new market trends\nRegular follow ups with adopted Stores to identify & fulfil the Gaps.\nMaintain code sign off.\nRegular update production tracker.\nRange Book Maintenance, Style Bible , Production files and various trackers\nFabric stock management & Utilization plan:\nProduct Performance Review:\nMonthly review of sell thru\nArchiving Original and all Best Seller Samples\nMaintaining Range Room sample\n\nVendor Management:\nHelp support new vendors for product escalation and Training of existing producers.\nMaintain productive relationship with vendors (fabric & garment)\nHelp PH Product Merchandiser in range closure & development to mitigate production concerns\n\nDelivery Management\nCoordination for fabric deliveries with CFT.\nT & A management\nMaintaining Weekly status review and escalation of any delays/rejections/shortfall\nMonthly alignment of buys as per OTB\nReal time update of Distribution Tracker\nAll pre-production approvals within 24 working hours\n\nJOB SPECIFICATION: (QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE)\nYears of Functional Experience: 5 - 8 years of work experience in Merchandising, Sampling, Product development\nDegree/Diploma: B. Ftech / M.
