Join Pitney Bowes as an Automation (QA) Engineer

Years of experience: 6 to 8 years

Job Location - Pune 

Impact

We are looking for a Automation (QA) engineer to develop and execute automated tests to ensure product quality.

QA engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests,debuggingand defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)

The Job

  Design, create and maintain automated test cases and determine priority for the test cases and create execution plans to implement these scenarios.

\n
• \n

  Participate in Agile working practices such as daily scrum meetings, sprint planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives

\n
• \n

  Maintain automated regression suites/packages to be compliant with changing requirements and features

\n
• \n

  The candidate should be able to work independently to identify test cases/test scripts from requirements and map test cases/scripts back to the original requirement\

\n
• \n

  Understand business objectives and build alignment and buy-in cross-functionally.
  \n Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into manual and/or automatable scenarios.

\n
• \n

  Developing and Executing the Cross Browser (browsers like Safari, Chrome, Mobile browsers) testing automation

\n

Required Qualifications & Skills 

\n

This role requires a talented self-directed individual with a strong work ethic and the following skills:

\n

Must tohave

\n

1. Minimum of3+ years of experience with test automation.
\n 2. Minimum of 7 years of overall Software QA experience.
\n 3. Experience in developing and implementing automated test cases for web applications.
\n 4. Exceptional ability to develop maintainable test automation solutions using Java, Selenium,Appiumor similar technologies.
\n 5. Hands on withvarious typesof testing such as system,functionaland regression
\n 6. Current coding experience using an object-oriented language (Java)
\n 7. Demonstrated knowledge of testing one or more of the following: API interfaces, databases/data stores, analytics
\n 9. Docker or similar container experience is a strong plus
\n 10. Experience working on large scale distributed systems or relational/NoSQL databases
\n 11. Experience with JavaScript or python and the testing frameworks (like Mocha, Cucumber, Protractor, Apache Jmeter ,cypress etc.)
\n 12. Experience debugging and capturing backend failures and network issues
\n 13. Experience in Stress testing or performance testing.
\n 14. Excellent written and oral communication skills and analytical skills
\n 15. Demonstrated competence and ability to be self-motivated when analyzing problems
\n 16. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to be an outstanding team player
\n 17. Ability to learn new frameworks and environments
\n 18. Experience with Agile, continuous integration, and dealing with ambiguity
\n 19. Adept at asking for help when needed
\n 20. Working experience with a remote team is a big plus
\n 21. Startup Experience is a plus
\n 22. Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) isan added bonus
