Project Manager (Transmission Lines)

Join our dynamic team, a leading player in the energy sector, dedicated to delivering innovative transmission solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with extensive experience in transmission line projects to oversee the end-to-end execution of our projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful management of Right of Way (ROW) and construction activities, contributing directly to the company’s growth and reputation.

Role Purpose: As a Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind the planning, execution, and delivery of high-voltage transmission line projects. Your leadership will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

    \n
  • Overall execution of EHV/HV transmission line projects.
    • \n
  • Planning and scheduling activities in accordance with project timelines.
    • \n
  • Managing complete ROW activities, including landowner negotiations and government coordination.
    • \n
  • Overseeing statutory approvals and resolving ROW-related challenges effectively.
    • \n
  • Supervising tower foundation, erection, and stringing activities to ensure quality standards.
    • \n
  • Coordinating with clients, providing progress reporting, and managing billing follow-ups.
    • \n
  • Leading site teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project alignment and efficiency.
    • \n
  • Monitoring project budget and implementing cost control measures.
    • \n
Requirements:\n

Qualifications & Skills

\n

Education:

\n
    \n
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
    • \n
\n

Experience:

\n
    \n
  • 8-15 years of relevant experience in transmission line projects (132kV / 220kV / 400kV).
    • \n
\n

Technical Skills:

\n
    \n
  • Proven experience in independently handling ROW activities.
    • \n
  • Strong expertise in project planning, monitoring, and execution.
    • \n
\n

Soft Skills:

\n
    \n
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
    • \n
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
    • \n
  • Adaptability to changing circumstances and challenges.
    • \n
  • Effective leadership and team management skills.
    • \n
\n

Certifications:

  • Relevant project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
