Roles & responsibilities
Data Monitoring and Analysis: Oversee the automated data collection processes from ERP systems to ensure accurate and timely tax data extraction. Analyze data to identify discrepancies or anomalies and implement corrective actions.
System Integration: Collaborate with technology teams to ensure seamless integration of tax technology solutions with existing ERP systems. Assist in the design and implementation of system enhancements to improve data collection and reporting.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in tax data management and reporting. Develop and implement best practices for data collection, validation, and analysis.
Manage data ingestion, validation, and reporting : Track data ingestion on the business platforms as per agreed timelines ,validate readiness for tax teams' consumption and report to the business on the data flows.
Execute Alteryx queries to transform the data : Run Alteryx workflows to support data transformation required for tax teams' consumption .
Collaboration and Support: Work closely with tax and technology teams to support tax technology initiatives. Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on the use of tax technology tools and processes.
Project Management: Lead or participate in projects related to tax technology enhancements, including planning, execution, and monitoring of project deliverables.
Mandatory technical & functional skills
A strong interest or background in tax and reporting technology is essential.
An understanding of tax and accounting, prior experience in tax or finance compliance is advantageous. Familiarity with finance or tax processes is advantageous.
Experience in supporting projects or solutions delivered using agile methodologies.
Exposure to environments focused on technology change implementation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suit (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
Strong understanding of tax processes and regulations.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analytics tools.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to logically analyze complex requirements, processes and systems.
Build Excel based automation and interpret complex formulas to structure, cleanse, and prepare data requirements
Design and deliver interactive Power BI dashboards and reports by transforming, modeling, and visualizing data to provide actionable insights to stakeholder
Develop and optimize Alteryx workflows to automate data preparation, transformation, and analytics, translating business requirements into scalable data solutions.
Preferred technical & functional skills
Previous experience in technology solution implementation.
A deeper understanding of the broader Microsoft ecosystem and cloud services.

Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, concepts, and modern work practices.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders at various levels.
Educational qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Work experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax, finance, or technology roles, with a focus on ERP systems and data management.
