Senior S/4HANA Application Consultant - SAP SD

Job Title: Senior S/4HANA Application Consultant – SAP SD

Primary Skill:

S/4HANA SD with strong expertise across the order‑to‑cash cycle, including sales order management, delivery, pricing, billing/invoicing, credit management, and logistics execution.

Secondary Skill:

Working knowledge and integration experience of SD with MM, PP, WM/EWM, and FI/CO, ensuring end‑to‑end process coverage and smooth cross‑module integration.

Educational Qualification:

B.Tech / B.E / M.Tech / MCA / M.Sc (or equivalent)

Years of Experience (YOE):

8+ years of relevant experience in SAP SD / S/4HANA SD

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution design for S/4HANA SD across the order‑to‑cash processes, covering sales orders, delivery processing, pricing, shipping, billing, and returns.
  
• Translate business strategies (e.g., revenue growth, margin optimization, channel expansion, customer experience) into robust S/4HANA SD designs.
  
• Define and configure integration of SD with MM, PP, WM/EWM, and FI/CO, ensuring seamless end‑to‑end process coverage from order capture to financial posting.
  
• Own SD‑related RICEFW scope and data migration approach for customers, pricing conditions, and sales documents.
  
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Logistics, and Master Data teams to define governance for customer, pricing, and sales master data.
  
• Steer testing, cutover, and hypercare for SD streams and ensure smooth transition for sales and customer service teams.
  
• Advise on order‑to‑cash KPIs, controls, and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., DSO reduction, on‑time delivery, billing accuracy).
  

Profile & Experience

• 8+ years in SAP SD, with at least one S/4HANA implementation as lead or stream lead.
  
• Strong grasp of end‑to‑end order‑to‑cash processes, including pricing, credit management, ATP, outputs, and account determination.
  
• Demonstrated experience in template rollouts, global sales process harmonization, or multi‑country SD deployments.
  
• Exposure to centralized order management, shared services, or global business services environments is preferred.
  
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities, working closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, and IT leadership.
