Role Overview

Everest Entertainment is building the next phase of Marathi entertainment, a connected digital ecosystem spanning films, music, creators, YouTube, social platforms, FAST channels, and digital-first audience experiences.

We are looking for a Social Media Content Creator who understands internet culture, moves fast, thinks visually, and enjoys creating content that audiences genuinely want to watch, share, and engage with. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys the complete content creation process from ideation and scripting to designing, shooting, editing, publishing, and optimising content across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Execution

• Create day-to-day content across social and digital platforms, including reels, short-form videos,
• graphics, static posts, stories, and platform-first content
• Design engaging creatives, including YouTube thumbnails, posters, banners, carousels, and social media assets
• Shoot and execute basic edits for social content while managing footage and workflows efficiently
• Assist in content publishing, scheduling, and platform optimisation

Creative Ideation & Trend Research

• Research trends, creators, formats, memes, and platform behaviour to generate relevant and
• engaging ideas
• Contribute actively to content calendars and campaign ideation
• Understand platform-specific storytelling styles across Instagram, YouTube, Shorts, and emerging
• formats

Copywriting & Storytelling

• Write scripts, captions, titles, hooks, and short-form copy across content formats
• Develop content ideas that balance entertainment, audience engagement, and platform
• performance

Collaboration & Workflow

• Work closely with internal teams on campaigns, launches, music releases, film promotions, and
• social activations
• Coordinate with editors, designers, production teams, and marketing stakeholders where required
• Ensure timely execution across multiple ongoing projects and deadlines

Performance & Optimization

• Track content performance, audience engagement, and platform insights
• Continuously improve content based on analytics, audience behaviour, and platform trends
• Experiment with new content formats and engagement approaches

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Instagram, YouTube, Shorts/Reels, and internet culture
• Strong understanding of and genuine interest in Marathi films, music, media, and entertainment
• trends (mandatory)
• Good working knowledge of Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar tools
• Strong visual sense for design, colour, typography, framing, and layouts
• Good writing and communication skills in English and Marathi
• Ability to think quickly, work fast, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Comfortable both behind and in front of the camera, where required
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-moving content environment

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in content creation, social media, digital marketing, creator-led content, or
• entertainment media
• Experience working with brands, agencies, production houses, media companies, or digital-first
• platforms
• Experience with YouTube thumbnail design, channel branding, and audience growth strategies
• preferred
• Understanding of audience engagement metrics and platform analytics is a plus
