Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst - Assistant Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Analyst to join our Agile delivery team. The ideal candidate should have 8–10 years of hands-on experience in automation testing , with strong technical expertise and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements and user stories to design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts.
\n
• Execute and maintain regression automation suites to ensure product stability.
\n
• Monitor daily smoke test executions and promptly investigate and resolve failures.
\n
• Design, automate, and execute load and performance test scripts.
\n
• Collaborate with onsite and offshore stakeholders to address issues identified during automation execution.
\n
• Proactively suggest, design, and implement enhancements to the automation framework.
\n
• Ensure automation best practices, coding standards, and quality benchmarks are consistently followed.

Core / Must‑Have Skills:

\n
• Strong hands-on experience in implementing automation frameworks, preferably Data‑Driven and/or BDD (Cucumber) , with a solid understanding of framework architecture.
\n
• Excellent proficiency in Core Java , including OOP concepts , along with Selenium and test automation framework development.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies, QA processes, and industry-standard terminologies.
\n
• Ability to work independently and mentor or support other team members when required.
\n
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging skills, with keen attention to detail.
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational and teamwork abilities.
\n
• Good experience writing medium to complex SQL queries based on business requirements.
\n
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
\n
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD tools is an added advantage.

Good‑to‑Have Skills:

\n
• Exposure to performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.
\n
• Experience with Playwright automation.
\n
