Finance Manager / Chief Financial Officer (Management)

Overview\n\nItvedant was started with the aim of bridging the gap between education and skills needed for the job with an intense passion for teaching.We are looking for dynamic and passionate people from the software industry to be a part of our family who can lead the team of students towardsa bright future.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n- Oversee the daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.\n- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles and guidelines.\n- Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize financial resources to maintain liquidity.\n- Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.\n- Develop and manage annual budgets in collaboration with department heads and senior management.\n- Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and provide recommendations for cost control and improvement.\n- Conduct financial forecasting and analysis to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.\n- Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for financial optimization.\n- Provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and present actionable recommendations to enhance financial performance.\n- Assist in evaluating investment opportunities, capital expenditures, and potential financial risks.\n- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.\n- Coordinate audits and tax filings, working closely with external auditors and regulatory authorities.\n- Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reports to management and stakeholders.\n- Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback.\n- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment within the finance department.\n- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the team's financial acumen and skills.\n- Contribute to the development of financial strategies and initiatives that align with the organization's goals and objectives.\n- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and expansion plans.\n- Participate in strategic decision-making processes and provide financial perspective on business initiatives.\n\nQualifications\n\n- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.\n- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in financial management, accounting, or related roles.\n- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.\n- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, financial modeling).\n- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\n- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, including the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.\n- Leadership and team management experience, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.\n\n#J-18808-Ljbffr
