Sr. Manager - Accounts & Finance - Vertoz

We are looking for candidates who will be responsible for managing the Accounting/bookkeeping team and MIS Process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with at least 8+ years of experience, preferably within the advertising or digital marketing sector.

What will you do:
•Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and forecasts. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

•Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the annual budgeting process in coordination with department heads. Monitor and analyze budget performance and provide recommendations for adjustments as needed.

•Compliance and Regulatory Reporting: Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards (Ind AS) and tax regulations. Prepare and submit all necessary financial reports and filings to regulatory authorities.

•Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company's financial stability. Implement effective cash management strategies.

•Audit and Taxation: Coordinate and manage annual financial audits, liaising with external auditors. Oversee tax compliance, including GST, income tax, and other applicable taxes.

•Financial Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency. Implement best practices in accounting and finance operations.

•Treasury and Banking Operations: Manage banking relationships, including negotiations, credit facilities, and day-to-day transactions. Monitor and analyze interest rates and investment opportunities.

•Team Leadership and Development: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the finance team members. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the department.

•ERP System Management: Oversee the utilization and maintenance of the company's ERP system for financial operations.

•Advisory and Strategic Planning: Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company goals.

• Preferred CA with excellent experience in MIS & Consolidation or Bachelor’s/ Masters's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•Worked with accounts and finance department with 8+ years’ experience in Service Industry.
•Thorough knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other regulations.
•Basic understanding of relevant tax, accounting, and audit concepts.
