Job Summary -

We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator for Windows Servers,including SQL Server, Selected Candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining Windows server infrastructure and related SQL Server databases for IAM Automation services.Responsibilities will include system administration, security, troubleshooting, Bots monitoring, and collaboration with other teams

Job Responsibilities -

• Managing and maintaining Windows servers and SQL servers in internal cloud environment
• Implementing and managing Active Directory, Group Policy, and other core Windows services.
• Configuring and maintaining server hardware and software, including installations, updates, and patching.
• Monitoring system performance and resource utilization.
• Troubleshooting and resolving system-related issues.
• Monitoring Automation BOTs.
• Developing and implementing automation scripts using tools like PowerShell.
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining SQL Server instances.
• Managing databases, users, and permissions.
• Monitoring SQL Server performance and optimizing queries.
• Performing database backups, restores, and disaster recovery.
• Monitoring security logs and alerts.
• Implementing and managing security tools and technologies.
• Ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations.
• Collaborating with other IT teams, such as network administrators and application developers.
• Participating in on-call rotations and responding to after-hours emergencies

Technical Qualifications

• Should have In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (2019, etc.).
• 5+ years of experience in system administration, with a focus on Windows and SQL Server environments.
• Should have Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Should have Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is preferred.
• Should have Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell is essential.
• Should have Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Should have Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Should have Experience with SQL Server administration, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
• Should have Understanding of security principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with ITIL methodologies is a plus.
