Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

ServiceNow Administration Activities Activities Descriptions Design & integrate Understanding of how to Design, build, implement and administer ServiceNow - IT Service Management frameworks which include but are not limited to modules i.e.. Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration, request, etc. Exposure in integration with 3rd party Applications and data sources most commonly - CMDB, KEDB, Event Monitoring. Development & Test Development and working experience on ServiceNow plugins and customizations of Business Service Design, Service Offerings, Service Portfolio where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors and additional specialized technical knowledge. Deploy & execute Understanding and experience in integrating service now tool with different tools and enabling service graph connectors. Deep understanding of CSDM service mapping model for remodeling the existing CMDB model Configure, Troubleshoot and Support Configuration and troubleshooting of ServiceNow integration with other tools and enabling service graph connectors as per business requirement. Good understanding of ServiceNow discovery module to Troubleshoot and support existing setup Metrics Familiarity with different tables and columns, configuration management/Asset Management. Create Performance Analytics/ServiceNow dashboards and reports to visualize current state of CMDB, to show trends which can be used to determine the progress towards CMDB maturity Generate snapshots/reports that can be lists, charts, or calendar-based views of data in dashboards information shared to relevant stakeholders Skills & Abilities -Must understand CSDM 4.0, service mapping model and how to design, implement and maintain CSDM in accordance with best practices and industry standards. - Must have familiarity with Application portfolio and Service portfolio concepts. - Must be able to develop and maintain operational processes and standards. - Must be able to identify root cause for issues and incorporate findings into process improvement. - Must have effective communications skills to interact with Analysts, vendors and other IT Incident Management participants and stakeholders. - - Must be customer service oriented and capable of conveying ideas to all levels of IT staff. - Must provide guidance and training to ServiceNow users on CSDM-related topics, including CI management and data governance.

Have 6 plus years of experience in CMDB Functional Consultant or similar role, preferably in a large enterprise environment. In-depth knowledge of CMDB concepts, including data modeling, reconciliation, and federation. Hands-on experience with CMDB tools such as ServiceNow. Discovery Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Relevant certifications in ITIL, CMDB, or related areas are a plus. Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) processes and frameworks, such as ITIL, is desirable. Should be willing to work in rotational shifts, including night shift to better cover the client working hours
