A Day in the Life

As an IT Virtual Assistant Technologist, you will be called upon to work directly with our Virtual Assistant Tenants. You will ensure that we deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions that meet business needs and align with IT strategy. You will also collaborate with other IT Technologist, stakeholders and vendors to plan, execute, and support Virtual Assistant projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Evaluate, design, develop, and modify Middleware and Front-End applications.
• Develop system design documentation (including GUI design if required), perform coding, and test/debug programs.
• Assist in developing migration and system implementation plans.
• Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.
• Troubleshoot and correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, and compile documentation for program support.
• Incident and Problem Management: Provide expertise for complex incidents and problems, act as an escalation point for L1 and L2, interface with various partners, and perform troubleshooting to identify root causes of issues.
• Collaboration with Network Team: Configure DNS and Load Balancers.
• Monitor the performance and health of the VA Platform.
• Integration with other applications and Large Language Models using REST APIs and WebSockets.
• Have a working understanding of Conversational AI and integrations with Large Language Models.

Required Knowledge and Expertise:

• 3+ years of IT experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, MCA, or MSc
• 3+ years of professional experience in software development.
• 2+ years of demonstrated proficiency with Node.js, Vue.js, Socket.IO, Docker, and Typescript.
• Conversational and Generative AI experience (preferred, not required).
• Familiarity with Network Infrastructure (Firewalls, DNS, and F5 Load Balancers).
• Proficient understanding of code versioning with Git and CI/CD deployment using Jenkins/GitHub.
• Experience with AWS/Azure technologies including ECS, Fargate, RDS, Postgres, CloudFormation, S3, and CloudFront.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Self-starter that takes initiative in generating and comprehending documentation.
• Familiarity with Agile method of project delivery.
• Familiarity with Contact Center Cloud Technology and Virtual Assistants.
