Roles and Responsibility

Responsible for creating design solutions that have ahigh visual impact. The role involves listening to clients and understandingtheir needs before making design decisions. Develop creative ideas andconcepts, choosing the appropriate media and style to meet the clients’ objectives.

Major responsibilities & deliverables:

• Coordinating with clients or account managers to discussthe business objectives and requirements of the job.
• Interpreting the client and business needs and developinga concept to suit their purpose.
• Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layoutfor approval
• Developing design briefs by gathering information anddata through research
• Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts.
• Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to clients oraccount managers
• Working with a wide range of media, including photomanipulation and computer aided design (CAD)
• Working as part of a team with printers, copywriters,photographers, stylists, illustrators, other designers, account executives, webdevelopers and marketing specialists. Awareness of current fashions in thevisual arts, working knowledge of the latest computer packages and anunderstanding of material costs and time limits, all of which can impact on thedesign.
• Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based onknowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
• Create design references and Pinterest boards for all thebrands and get it approved from the Creative Director.
• Keep up with the design trends and pitch to the clientand get it implemented.
• Train team members to ensure their growth and progress.
