Our mission is to make the student housing journey seamless through technology, data, and exceptional customer experiences.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are looking for a highly driven Performance Marketing Manager to lead our paid acquisition efforts across digital channels. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, optimizing, and scaling performance marketing campaigns to drive high-quality user acquisition, app installs, and revenue growth.\n\nThe ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with hands-on campaign management experience and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPaid User Acquisition\n\n- Own the end-to-end paid acquisition strategy across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, affiliate networks, and other performance channels.\n- Plan, launch, monitor, and optimize campaigns to maximize ROI, lead quality, and conversions.\n- Continuously test new audiences, creatives, bidding strategies, and acquisition channels to improve performance.\n\nApp Growth & User Acquisition\n\n- Drive user acquisition for Amber’s mobile applications, with a focus on iOS and Android growth.\n- Develop and execute app-install campaigns across Google, Meta, and other relevant platforms.\n- Monitor key app marketing metrics including CPI, CAC, ROAS, retention, and LTV.\n\nCampaign Optimization & Analytics\n\n- Analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and marketing efficiency.\n- Build dashboards and reports to track acquisition performance and business impact.\n- Leverage data-driven insights to inform marketing decisions and budget allocation.\n\nProgram & Project Management\n\n- Manage the complete lifecycle of growth initiatives, from planning and execution to reporting and optimization.\n- Coordinate multiple marketing projects while ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration\n\n- Partner closely with Product, Design, Content, Branding, Analytics, and Engineering teams to execute growth initiatives.\n- Collaborate with external agencies, vendors, and platform partners when required.\n\nRisk & Performance Management\n\n- Identify campaign risks, performance bottlenecks, and growth opportunities.\n- Proactively recommend and implement corrective actions to achieve business objectives.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n- 4–8 years of experience in Performance Marketing, Growth Marketing, or Digital Acquisition roles.\n- Hands-on expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other paid acquisition platforms.\n- Proven experience managing significant monthly advertising budgets and delivering measurable growth outcomes.\n- Strong understanding of attribution, conversion tracking, analytics, and marketing funnels.\n- Experience driving app installs and mobile user acquisition campaigns.\n- Advanced proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, or similar reporting tools.\n- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-first approach.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n- Experience in consumer internet, marketplace, SaaS, EdTech, TravelTech, or high-growth startup environments.\n- Knowledge of app attribution platforms such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Branch.\n- Experience working across international markets and scaling campaigns globally.\n\nWhat We Look For\n\n- Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities.\n- Entrepreneurial mindset and ownership-driven approach.\n- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.\n- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.\n- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.\n\nJoin Amber and help shape the future of student living through data-driven growth and innovation.
